Celebrating 35 Years of Licking Loneliness

Dozens of two- and four-legged FPOW volunteers gathered at
Vanish Brewery to celebrate our 35th Anniversary with friends, food, fun, awards, special guests, and more!

Congressman Gerry Connolly, a long-time supporter of Fairfax Pets on Wheels, honored our 35th Anniversary with recognition in the  Congressional Record.

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors  proclaimed September 2022 as
Fairfax Pets On Wheels Month. President Paula Singleton accepted the proclamation.

Our friends at Fairfax County Television created a special video to celebrate FPOW's 35th Anniversary.

All-volunteer FPOW is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization and is approved by the American Kennel Club as an AKC-recognized therapy dog group. Every year, our people/pet teams share the power of the human-animal bond through thousands of hours of pet therapy visits.
